Theme styles

In the lead-up to full site editing WordPress introduced theme styles as a way of personalising a theme. For Bootscout we are using theme styles to adjust the primary colours used in the theme and keep within The Scouts brand guidelines. Theme styles will change colours used in the navigation bar, footer, text, etc. All style options can also be adjusted on individual sites if required.

Changing styles

  1. Navigate to Appearance -> Editor
  2. Click on styles on the left of the page
  3. Click the style of your choosing.
  4. Click save, located at the top right of the window

Customising options

  1. Navigate to Appearance -> Editor
  2. Click on styles on the left of the page
  3. Click edit which is located above the style option on the left of the page
  4. Modify the appearance of text, colours, page layout and block designs
  5. Click save, located at the top right of the window
