Theme styles

In the lead-up to full site editing WordPress introduced theme styles as a way of personalising a theme. For Bootscout we are using theme styles ad adjust the primary colours used in the theme. This will change colours used in the navigation bar, footer, text, etc. These colours can also be adjusted on individual sites if required.

Changing styles

  1. Navigate to Appearance -> Editor
  2. Click on styles in the top right of the page and then click browse styles
  3. Click the style of your choosing
  4. Click save, located at the top right of the window

Customising options

  1. Navigate to Appearance -> Editor
  2. Click on styles in the top right of the page and then click typography or colors
    1. In typography click text or links to change the default font and size of text or links
    2. In colours click background, text or links to change the default corresponding colours or palette to change the theme colours including the primary and secondary colours which are used in the navigation and footer.
  3. Click save, located at the top right of the window
