Resetting the footer to default
WordPress 5.9 introduced theme parts which we are using for the footer. If an update for Bootscout makes a change to the footer this may not automatically apply to the footer on your site. If this happens, or you need to reset the footer to default, then follow the following steps.
- Navigate to Appearance -> Editor
- Click on Patterns -> Footer, then click on the footer
- In the settings panel on the right of the page click on template part
- Click the three dots next to header before clicking clear customizations
- Click save, located at the top right of the window
